Dr. Warner grew up in Baldwinsville, a small town on the banks of the Erie Canal in Upstate New York. Once he realized playing third base for the NY Mets was not a likely career possibility, he turned his aspirations to health care. During high school, Dr. Jeff suffered from chronic migraine headaches and found little relief with conventional treatments. After receiving chiropractic treatment from Dr. Eric Croucher, the migraines subsided and a passion for chiropractic was born.
While attending the University of Rochester in western New York, Dr. Jeff met the love of his life, Malia. After earning a degree in Neuroscience, Dr. Jeff enrolled at the oldest chiropractic school in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During this time, Malia was at the University of Iowa earning a Masters degree in Chemistry. Malia finished her Masters degree and returned home to Kansas to enroll at the KU School of Medicine. Dr. Jeff graduated in 2003 and followed Malia to Kansas.
Dr. Warner practiced with Dopps Chiropractic in Wichita while Malia was in medical school. The couple was married in 2004. Upon completion of medical school, they moved to Salina, KS where Malia became a family practice resident at Smoky Hill Family Practice. During this time, Dr. Jeff practiced with Dr. Pete Workman in the small town of Lincoln, KS. He also participated in the State of Kansas Charitable Provider Program at Salina Family Healthcare, providing Chiropractic care to people who could not afford it otherwise.
Dr. Jeff has treated thousands of patients in Kansas, including professional and high school athletes, pregnant women, newborn babies and senior citizens. He also spent two weeks in the Caribbean nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as a guest of the government to provide health care to the underserved population.
Currently, Dr. Warner is pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Kansas State University. This degree will provide more tools to help Dr. Jeff shape the health care debate at a local and national level in the years to come.
Drs. Jeff and Malia Warner are excited to be a part of the Holton community. They both love small town living and look forward to raising their two sons, Jeffrey and Jacob, and their daughter Alexa in Holton. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially at the lake.
